Magnetic traverse with permanent magnets. To be used only with current couplings NKK 800 or NKK 1200.
Applications: For tank constructions.
Current load: For current load up to 1200 Amp.
Description: The magnetic traverse type NTF in conjunction with current coupling type NKK has been proving its reliability as a rotatable earth coupling in tank construction for many years. These devices are extremely robust, reliable and time-saving.Three powerful magnets, insulated from the welding current and mounted on a movable suspension, firmly attach the device to flat and dished tank heads up to a minimum radius of curvature of 1000mm. Nine spring-mounted, electrode-grade copper contacts provide good current transmission to the workpiece.
